When should I install my eSIM?

When planning your holiday, consider the 11-month validity period for Esimatic’s eSIMs. This feauture is designed to simplify your experience, so you don’t have to stress about when to install them. eSIM activation involves installing it on your phone.

The activation of the data bundle will start as soon as data roaming is enabled in your destination or roaming country and the first 1 kilobyte (KB) of data is used. We call this function ”Auto-Enable”. This way, you are free to install eSIMs, which will be ready for your travel and automatically start using data. Therefore you can buy an eSIM 11 months ahead your travel.
